Job Summary

Assist Director of Marketing in maintaining all strategic marketing plans.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

  • Coordinate crude oil movements with operations, gathering systems and customers
  • Maintain SRC’s physical crude position in storage, as well as, on pipeline deliveries
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of regional and North American energy market fundamentals including O&G supply and demand, regulatory changes, and transportation infrastructure
  • Monitor, analyze and summarize the impact of existing and proposed federal and state energy policy changes and infrastructure announcements that influence SRC’s product transportation
  • Understand, monitor and communicate energy market dynamics, pricing and trends (including gas, NGL and oil as well as geographic basis price differentials)
  • Build and maintain models to analyze gas plant economics
  • Provide ad-hoc research and analysis
  • Interface and support accounting team with settlements, invoicing and accruals
  • Support the development and maintenance of a contractual dedication database

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in business, engineering, finance, or economics
  • Minimum 2 years, with 4-5 years preferred, serving in an energy market analyst role with DJ experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner
  • Ability to grasp key market fundamentals and communicate them effectively to others
  • Ability to work through large volumes of data, integrate data from different sources and condense to a workable form
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple projects
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities
  • Excellent management, administrative, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and other departments

Required proficiency in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) with a heavy emphasis on Excel expertise
